Moving to a bigger city for photography has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. It's true that when you live in a place where there are a lot of things happening, the more opportunity you get to do things you've never done before.
I had been following a creative agency named ROSEWOOD, based in Los Angeles, for a long time. They have some of the most creative social media content for really large brands such as Apple, Interscope Records, J. Crew, etc. It was great to get an email from them asking if I'd be interested in photographing popular artist, AlunaGeorge, at the Lincoln Hall here in Chicago.
I had never attempted concert photography prior to this time. It was really challenging and I had to learn a lot on the fly, but that seems to be a reoccurring theme in my life. Overall it was a ton of fun and I'd definitely be up to doing it again if the chance ever comes. Here are a few shots that I was able to get from that night.
