Columbus is one of my favorite cities for multiple reasons. The local business scene is amazing, it's easy to get around, and creative people pop up from all over the place and share what they're best at. Everyone in this city is incredibly supportive of each other and I am so thankful to be a part of something this great.
Here to Disrupt is a culinary project that is aimed at showcasing local chefs. Every month they host a pop up brunch or dinner in varying locations, featuring different chefs and menu items. The amount of seats are limited and they continue to sell out of tickets. The environments are fun, relaxing, and a great way to connect to people that are heavily involved in the local Columbus scene. I cannot applaud Here to Disrupt enough for allowing people of all trades to express themselves creatively and bring them to the same table for a meal.
This weekend I had the opportunity to photograph their even hosted at The Wonder Jam, which is an incredible space. Jordan Miller, one of my closest friends, was the stylist for the event and absolutely killed it. You should check out her blog and see what amazing things she's doing right now. The lighting was really tough because of the time it took place, but I was challenged to tackle something that I have never done before. Here are some of the images I was able to grab from the weekend. I'm really stoked about the way they turned out.
